We are looking seeking Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurses to care for our patients within a group home setting.
The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care to patients who may be on a ventilator and require trach care.
Compassionate about nursing and the making real difference in patient care is a must. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.
The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.
ESSESNTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Submit regular patient care progress reports to attending physician and clinical staff.
- Consult & develop treatment plans based on physician's orders and initial patient assessment.
- Provide nursing care and written care plans.
- Participate in and monitor patient and family care compliance activities.
- Professionally manage and coordinate the plan of care
- Complete clinical and medical documentation on all patients.
- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs, to provide the best possible care and advice
- Observe and interpret the patient’s symptoms and communicate them to the physicians
- Should have experience with the following : IV experience, pediatrics / young adults, Trachs, G-Tubes, wound care, vent experience preferable, strong clinical experience,
- Must have critical thinking skills, strong clinical background
- Provide immediate medical care in emergencies
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.)
- Foster, a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :
- Minimum of Associate degree / diploma (or higher) in Nursing.
- Current and unrestricted Florida RN / LPN license.
- Current CPR / BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year RN or LPN experience in an institutional setting.
Acute Care / Rehab / Hospital / Home Health / Hospice)
- Excellent working knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be dependable, reliable, responsible, patient, and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
