The Role

Lumen Technologies is seeking a Senior Lead Business Solutions Architect who will drive the design and delivery of data-driven solutions across our core business platforms. In this role, you will blend deep data architecture expertise with broad knowledge of enterprise systems to solve complex business problems. You’ll serve as a bridge between business objectives and technology – architecting solutions and generating proof of concepts that leverage tools like Databricks, Python, and AI "Genies" (Databricks GenAI assistants) for advanced analytics.

The Main Responsibilities

• Integrate AI "Genies" for insights – Utilize Databricks AI Genies (and similar GenAI tools) to enable natural-language business querying and rapid insights generation
• Leverage Databricks Lakehouse and Delta Lake capabilities for unified data architecture. Use Python and SQL to develop data transformations, custom analytics, and process automations
• Design scalable data models and pipelines, especially on Databricks, to support analytics and business intelligence needs
• Serve as the subject matter expert linking Salesforce CRM and ServiceNow workflows with internal tool
• Partner with business stakeholders across departments (e.g. Operations, Product, Sales, Finance) to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors

Location Based Pay Ranges

$129,639 - $172,852 in these states : AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.

$136,121 - $181,494 in these states : CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.

$142,603 - $190,137 in these states : AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA
