ER RN Job Details – Alabama Healthcare Jobs Location : Tuscaloosa, Alabama (35401) Job Type : Travel Nursing Assignment Healthcare Setting : Regional Medical Center Emergency Department (54-bed Level III Trauma Center, Level II Stroke Center) Assignment Duration : 16 weeks (Start : 10 / 27 / 2025 – End : 2 / 14 / 2026) Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (19 : 00–07 : 00), holidays as required, every other weekend Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours per week) Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,570 - $1,680 per week Parking : On-site available Dress Code : Solid Navy Scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses accepted) Minimum 1 year of recent emergency room nursing experience (2 years preferred; 18 months considered with strong specialty background) Associate degree in nursing required Certifications : AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, TNCC Ability to float to other units and hospitals as needed Experience with Meditech EMR preferred ER Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced clinical environment Respond to trauma and stroke cases as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios : 1 : 1 for critical / trauma patients, 1 : 3-4 for other patients Float to other units or hospitals within the Alabama health system as required Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards Ready to take the next step in your ER nursing career?
