Job Description

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist supports the mission of KIPP Delta Public Schools by ensuring efficient, compliant, and people-centered HR operations. The HR Generalist serves as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR matters, manages core HR functions, and ensures compliance with Arkansas Department of Education (DESE), federal, and state employment regulations. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition :

Support recruitment efforts for instructional and non-instructional staff, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.

Serve as a resource for staff inquiries on HR policies and procedures, benefits, leave, and payroll matters.

Maintain accurate employee records per state and federal laws, DESE requirements, and organizational policies.

Partner with Finance & Payroll teams to process employee changes, leaves, and benefits updates accurately and on time.

Support annual HR cycles, including open enrollment, contract renewals, and evaluations.
