Job Details :

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Neonatologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a Level III NICU. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in neonatal care, demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment, and possess a strong commitment to providing top-tier care for our youngest patients. This role will require you to be on the forefront of neonatal medicine, using the latest technology and medical advancements to save lives and improve outcomes for neonates and their families.

Responsibilities :

As a Neonatologist, your primary responsibilities will include :

1. Providing high-quality, compassionate care to neonates in our Level III NICU.

2. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, respiratory therapists, dieticians, and social workers to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.

3. Conducting comprehensive examinations of newborns to assess their health status, identify issues and initiate necessary interventions.

4. Interpreting and analyzing diagnostic tests and medical data to diagnose conditions and monitor progress.

5. Communicating effectively with families, providing them with updates, educating them about their child’s condition, and offering emotional support.

6. Participating in rounds, case conferences, and research studies to stay abreast of the latest developments in neonatal care.

7. Training and mentoring residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in neonatology.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications :

1. Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.

2. Completion of a Pediatric Residency and Neonatology Fellowship.

3. Board certified or board eligible in Neonatology.

4. A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Level III NICU.

5. Proven experience in neonatal resuscitation and the management of critically ill neonates.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure.

8. A deep commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for improving the health and well-being of neonates.
