Safety and Security Officer

Founded in 1970 as South Philadelphia Health Action and subsequently incorporated as Greater Philadelphia Health Action, GPHA is a non-profit healthcare organization with a commitment to provide compassionate and affordable healthcare services regardless of an individual’s ability to pay. GPHA is one of the largest Dental providers in Philadelphia and Tri-state area. We are presently seeking full-time Safety and Security Officers in our Dental Division. Locations include:

We are looking for individuals that want to grow and develop with the division.

Candidates must obtain a high school diploma (or GED) and at least three years’ experience as a security officer or certification from a security officer training program. Knowledgeable of Safety and Security requirements and continue learning through it. Must be able to deal with people effectively and professionally. Dealing with disruptive patients or visitors peacefully by applying de-escalation skills. Maintenance and Custodial Services and health center operations. The ability to anticipate a problem/situation and use preventive intervention effectively. CPR certified.
