Job Summary :
The IT Support Specialist provides comprehensive IT help desk and technical support for a global technical assistance program. This role encompasses hardware, software, network, cybersecurity, email systems, and equipment logistics. The position requires a deep understanding of M365 hybrid environments, Windows troubleshooting, and cloud security best practices.
Location : District of Columbia, United States
Responsibilities :
- Provide hardware, software, and network support for global staff.
- Ensure governance and information assurance / cybersecurity compliance.
- Deliver IT services, including remote technical support, device troubleshooting, patching, and IT asset provisioning.
- Manage IT inventory, software / hardware maintenance, and Audio / Video equipment.
- Provide email support, including account creation, updates, deletions, and archiving.
- Support, maintain, repair, and replace IT assets.
Required Skills & Certifications :
Deep understanding of M365 hybrid environments, Entra ID, SSO, and MFA.Proficiency in Windows troubleshooting and device support.Skilled in Microsoft 365 administration : Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Groups.Experience with Adobe, Power BI, Power Automate, Visio, Planner, Project.Experience installing, configuring, and supporting laptop and mobile devices.Experience with remote support tools (Remote Desktop, Zoom, MS Teams).Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance.Preferred Skills & Certifications :
Experience supporting a hybrid work environment with globally deployed staff.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances.Collaborative team spirit, cultural sensitivity, and a strong desire to learn.Minimum 7 years of IT support experience.Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL).Special Considerations :
