BirdWatch is an innovative home management and maintenance company based in Washington, DC, and we're seeking a skilled full-time senior Home Services Carpenter to join us!
This is ideal for a candidate looking to be part of a team, have a predictable schedule, and earn fair, consistent pay. So often, we hear about technicians and contractors who have unpredictable schedules and are underappreciated for their skill set.
We want to change that narrative and provide consistent, well-paying jobs where employees feel valued and enjoy working with their teammates!
Starting pay between $33 - $38 per hour, with signing incentives (cash, vehicle access, or others!)
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional handyman, maintenance, or remodeling experience
- Including 2+ years of experience working directly with homeowners / customers
- Comfortable with a pre-employment background check
- Experienced with a wide range of home improvement tasks, including trim carpentry, painting, drywall, minor plumbing and electrical
- Must reside within a 30 minute commute of Washington DC
- Own work truck needed for the position
- Own standard set of hand & power tools
