Grounds Keeping Maintenance Worker

Under general supervision, to perform general and varied grounds keeping maintenance work; to perform semi-skilled and limited skill Grounds work; to operate power-driven equipment; and to do related work as required.

Position Accountabilities

Comply with appropriate safety precautions and procedures. Understand and follow oral and written instructions and standard work procedures. Work cooperatively with others. Maintain routine records. Observe legal and defensive driving principles. Practice proper safety practices in the operation of mowers and grounds equipment.

Tasks

Tasks are performed by using a safe and proper manner. All duties performed are done so in a highly professional manner that reflects the department's core values :
