Financial Data Analyst III - Claims / Medical

With the Managed Health Services (MHS) Indiana Health Plan Finance team, you will do financial analysis supporting our medical analysis as well as our cost savings initiative analysis. This position will also be a cross-functional lead for MHS Indiana Risk Adjustment across Medicaid, Marketplace, and Medicare.

Position Purpose : Develop integrated revenue / expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately. Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management. Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts. Handle complex and high-level financial analysis. Present and discuss analysis with upper management.

Education / Experience : Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of financial or data analysis experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Skills : Experience analyzing financials for claims / medical costs to identify trends. Experience writing SQL code to help develop analysis and Power BI dashboard. Experience with Risk Adjustment with Medicaid and Marketplace. Excel, SQL, Teradata, Power BI. Presentation skills.

Pay Range : $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year.
