Global Safety Manager - Manufacturing
Our client is a leading industrial manufacturing company with operations across the US, Mexico, and Canada, is seeking a Global Safety Manager to drive the company's safety strategy and culture across seven international sites. Global Safety Manager - Manufacturing Responsibilities
The Global Safety Manager - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following :
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve global safety programs, policies, and standards across all sites.
- Partner with regional leaders to ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations.
- Lead risk assessments, audits, and safety performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure accountability.
- Standardize incident investigation and root cause analysis processes across all sites to drive proactive prevention.
- Provide coaching and training to site safety teams and plant management to enhance safety leadership and engagement.
- Benchmark global best practices and promote a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee key performance metrics, report findings to executive leadership, and develop action plans to achieve annual safety goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and HR to integrate safety into operational processes and new initiatives.

Qualifications for the Global Safety Manager - Manufacturing
The ideal Global Safety Manager - Manufacturing will have the following qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).5-10+ years of progressive EHS experience, with at least 3 years in a multi-site or global safety leadership role within manufacturing or industrial operations.Strong understanding of international safety regulations and standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.).Proven success driving cultural change and implementing global EHS initiatives.Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills across diverse teams and regions.Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 70%.What's on Offer
