Job Description

Summary :

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support its Advanced Cardiac Support outpatient clinic. This local-only opportunity is contract-to-hire and offers a weekday schedule with no weekends or call. Ideal candidates will have cardiology or general / family practice experience and a current WA MA-C license. Strong candidates with 6+ months of experience in outpatient settings will be considered.

Responsibilities :

• Perform patient intake duties including rooming, vitals collection (BP, temp, pulse, respiratory rate, SpO2), and height / weight measurements
• Administer 12-lead ECGs and assist with routine outpatient cardiac procedures
• Conduct lab draws as required
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits, including positioning / draping and collecting health history
• Handle medication refill requests and pharmacy calls
• Complete chart preparation, authorization forms, and assist with general office duties
• Stock supplies and maintain clean, organized workspaces
• Make follow-up calls to patients as directed
• Potentially float between clinics based on skillset and operational need

Key Requirements :

Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Medical Assistant

BLS (AHA)

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
