Senior HVAC Service Technician | DX, Chillers, VRV / VRF

Our client is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician to join a growing, customer-focused team. You'll service a wide range of commercial and industrial systems including hot water, DX, chillers, VRV / VRF, and low voltage controls across a diverse territory. This role offers autonomy, technical variety, and high-impact service work.

Location : Des Moines, IA (with coverage across eastern Iowa, western Illinois, Missouri to Minnesota)

Responsibilities :

• Identify opportunities for new services and process improvements.
• Provide technical training and support to clients and junior technicians.
• Maintain accurate service records using company laptop and mobile systems.
• Conduct inspections, start-ups, commissioning, and preventative maintenance.
• Travel within assigned territory (Dubuque to Waterloo, Burlington, Grinnell, eastern IA, western IL, MO to MN)
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems : hot water, DX, chillers, cooling towers, fan systems, VFDs, and low voltage controls.
