Manufacturing Engineer - CVI Process Engineer
Working Pattern : Onsite Working location : Indianapolis, IN
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) team, supporting the Chemical Vapour Infiltration (CVI) process. This role focuses on scaling, optimizing, and sustaining high-temperature composite manufacturing used in next-generation aerospace applications. The successful candidate will drive process improvements, root cause investigations, and production readiness of CVI-related operations.

Basic Requirements : + Associate's degree in Engineering with 4+ years of engineering experience, OR + Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of engineering experience, OR + Master's degree in Engineering, OR + PhD in Science, Technology or Engineering, OR + In lieu of a degree 6+ years of engineering experience + To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Requirements : + Experience with the manufacture of Ceramic Matrix Composite Components or Aerospace Components with coating operations. + Knowledge of Vacuum Furnace operating principles and hardware + Knowledge of PSM and how to implement + Knowledge of gas supply and flow rate control / verification + Knowledge of piping and instrumentation diagram creation / interpretation + Experience with logic-based control systems + Experience with Mass Flow Controllers, Thermocouples, Vacuum Pumps, PH Probes. + Experience with Control of Hazardous / Explosive Gases and Chemical Scrubbers for treatment of exhaust furnace waste + Experience with the FAT / SAT process and the validation of new equipment for use in production
