About The Position

Experience : Minimum 2.5 years in a large level II trauma center with a large volume ER experience of over 90K annually.

License : Active RN license required.

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS.

Must-Have :

• 2.5 years of experience in a large emergency room.
• Experience with high patient volume.

Description :

Emergency Department RN for PM Shift.

No holiday time off will be approved, and a maximum of five days of time off is allowed.

First-timers accepted if they have 2.5 years of experience.

Candidates must meet the hard stop of having at least 2.5 years in a large level II trauma center.

Candidates must possess large volume emergency room experience of over 90,000 visits annually.

Floating is not required, but weekend coverage is required per the needs of the department.

On-call is not required.

Documentation system used is Epic.

Candidates must have the certifications of BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS.

Time off must be pre-approved and included at the time of submission.

Candidates should be experienced with arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care / management, continuous IV sedation, and CPAP / BiPAP.

Experience with various emergencies such as gunshot wounds, head injuries, and neuro-trauma is essential.

Skills in phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration, triage, and care for ventilated patients are necessary.

Interdisciplinary support is provided by physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams.

Daily census of patient encounters is approximately 310.

Candidates should expect to work with a diverse patient age group, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
