HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the interim Clinical Nurse Educator, at a 200+ bed hospital in Northern California.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Assessing, creating, and teaching educational material to nursing staff
- Supporting nurses transitioning as a new hire, transferring into a new specialty, and new graduate nurse residents
- Support bedside nurses with knowledge, skill, attitude, and judgement at the bedside
- Building partnerships with clinical leaders
- Joint Commission survey readiness
Requi rements :
- Education : BSN required; MSN preferred
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Educator; clinical bedside acute care nursing experience; Clinical bedside experience in telemetry and medical surgical specialty
- License : Active California RN license required
- Certifications : BLS through the American Heart Association
- Computer Skills : EMR experience and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.)
All expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, transportation, and trips home during the assignment.
