Description
Metro Water Recovery is a nationally recognized leader in wastewater conveyance and treatment services for 2.2 million people in the Denver Metro area. We offer a 4-day work week with weekends off, full PPE, tools, and laundry service. The role is available at one of the following levels depending on qualifications : HVAC Technician ($26.23-$36.59) or Senior HVAC Technician ($30.60-$42.68). The position reports to the HVAC Supervisor and may take direction from senior HVAC personnel.
Responsibilities
- Install, start-up, maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and service HVAC equipment commonly found in a wastewater treatment plant.
- Operate lifting equipment such as boom and scissor lifts.
- Work on-call shifts as needed and perform work in extreme environments with varying weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
- Source needed parts for HVAC equipment and operate lifting equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; valid driver's license.Experience with HVAC maintenance and installation in an industrial environment.Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and safety practices in an industrial environment.Knowledge of electronic theory, circuits, components, and material properties.Proficiency with Windows operating systems, MS Outlook, Word, Excel.EPA 608 certification; boom and scissor lift certification (required for Senior level).Benefits
