Located in the heart of downtown Naperville, Ramsay’s Kitchen offers q one-of-a-kind dining experience featuring iconic Gordon Ramsay dishes like Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding alongside seasonal favorites with a local twist.
We’re seeking an experienced, well-rounded, and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and deliver world-class hospitality.
What You’ll Do
Own the guest experience : Ensure every service delivers fast, friendly, professional, and responsive hospitality—guest recovery with grace, proactive floor presence, and memorable touches.
Lead the team : Coach, inspire, and hold the FOH team accountable for Gordon Ramsay standards; drive engagement, retention, and a culture of excellence.
Run the floor : Oversee daily service, pre-shift, section assignments, pacing, and coordination with the kitchen to maintain consistency and timing.
Recruit & develop : Hire great people, onboard effectively, and provide ongoing training and clear performance feedback.
Standards & compliance : Uphold all Health & Safety, Alcohol Service, and Food Safety requirements to company and statutory standards.
Reservations & revenue : Optimize books and flow (e.g., pacing / walk-ins), manage large parties and events, and support sales-building initiatives.
Inventory & cost awareness : Partner with leadership on labor management, comps / voids controls, and operational best practices that protect the P&L.
Communication : Maintain clear, timely communication with the GM, BOH leadership, and all stakeholders; ensure shift notes and logbooks are accurate and actionable.
What You Bring
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager (or AGM / Floor Manager) in a high-volume, premium or fine-casual / fine-dining environment.
A hands-on leadership style with the confidence, energy, and enthusiasm to set the tone on the floor.
Impeccable attention to detail and a relentless commitment to brand standards.
A track record of building, training, motivating, and retaining high-performing FOH teams.
Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills; calm under pressure and solution-oriented.
Working knowledge of reservations and POS systems; comfort with logs, checklists, and basic KPI tracking.
