Associate Attorney-Unlawful Detainer (UD)
Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as hearings and trials
- Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy
- Advise clients on legal matters and provide guidance on potential outcomes
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Attend depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
Skills :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the California state bar associationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneouslyAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsKnowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal proceduresExperience with litigation and negotiationProficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and other legal-related technology applications. Exposure or experience using Judicial Counsel Form preferred.We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
