Electromechanical Equipment Operator – 1st Shift
Location : Batavia, OH
Pay : Starting at $16.50 / hr and up, based on experience
Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 5 : 45 AM – 4 : 30 PM
Off Every Friday!
Position Summary :
QuickPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Equipment Operator to join a leading electronics manufacturer. This role involves operating and maintaining electromechanical equipment used in electronic circuit board assembly. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Operate electromechanical equipment in support of electronic circuit board assembly
Set up and verify multiple production jobs using computer-generated setup sheets and fixture layout drawings
Monitor assembly processes to ensure quality and performance goals are met
Communicate technical data, errors, and machine malfunctions to Quality and Support teams
Perform light maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep on production equipment
Report material shortages before and during production runs
Support corrective actions to maintain target defect levels
Demonstrate lead operator abilities and assist with team coordination
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications :
Education : High School Diploma or GED required
Experience : Minimum of 2 years operating electromechanical or CNC-type equipment
Skills :
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
Ability to read setup sheets and layout drawings
Experience in electronic manufacturing preferred
Physical Requirements :
Work performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment
Frequent standing, sitting, bending, and stretching required
Occasional lifting and manual handling of materials
Regular interaction with team members and support departments
