Position Profile

The Production Engineer is primarily responsible for the technical management, maintenance and development of new and existing production lines. This individual supports the objectives of Marotta Controls, Inc. relative to manufacturing and operational goals. In this role the Production Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, test equipment, and processes that continually ensure that equipment capacity will meet customer demand. The Production Engineer will also implement process improvements based on demonstrated improved yield results and participate in defect reduction activities and lean initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• 5+ years\' experience in design and manufacturing of electric motors
• 2+ years of related experience in a production / operations environment
• Working knowledge of electric motors and their components, the processes and techniques for manufacturing, and the equipment and methods for testing
• Excellent verbal / written communication skills for interactions with all levels of personnel and outside agents
• Highly computer literate, with MS Office / PC expertise, and experience with applicable systems, programs, equipment, etc.
• Must be a US Citizen

Pay Range : $87,750 - $115,000 per year

Location : Chaska, MN office (On-Site Mon-Fri)
