POSITION SUMMARY
The Rare Beauty Senior Manager of Planning and Purchasing will be responsible for managing supply planning of finished goods and sub-level components for assigned vendors and contract manufacturers.
This person will be responsible for the continuous supply of finished goods from multiple sources to meet customer service and inventory level goals and objectives Functional responsibility includes all aspects of planning, procurements, and metric reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive supply planning execution to sustain and improve customer and supplier service levels while maintaining optimized inventory levels
- Responsible for Purchase Order management with the Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers
- Manage end-to-end activities related to products flow to meet the changing levels of demand
- Responsible for day-to-day replenishment planning activities, leveraging ERP system to monitor and action expedite / de-expedite, material shortages, E&O and purchasing strategy
- Review and analyze demand variations and the impact to WoS for assigned collections, working with corresponding teams to solve any shortage scenarios that occur
- Optimize inventory and establish controls to ensure the company is operating at the highest level of performance to minimize supply chain risk
- Contribute to total customer satisfaction by providing high quality and timely service to all internal and external customers
- Focus on process improvement to drive efficiency and sustainability
- Manage vendor relations for purchased products where applicable
- Manage local assembly for kits
- Address, with a sense of urgency, any supply issues, additional costs, and preventative actions to vendors in the event of late deliveries and / or short shipments
- Key Performance Metrics : Customer Unit Fill Rate, Inventory Value and Days of Supply, Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory, Supplier Performance
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years’ experience in roles such as, but not limited to supply planning, procurement, or supply chain management
- Consumer Packaged Goods Industry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain, or economics

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Some international and domestic travel may be required
