When you join our team of over 45 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealths mission in the communities we serve.
As a Clinical Operations Manager in an outpatient setting you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Accept the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient / client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action.
The role you'll contribute :
In the Outpatient Service area, maintains a therapeutic and business management philosophy including program development, labor analysis, standards of practice, staffing needs, process improvement, and revenue management. Provides direct and indirect patient care to an assigned group of patients in rehabilitation settings on an as-needed basis. Facilitates staff development by re-evaluating performance and coaching and counseling staff, following employee progressive discipline procedures. Manages multidisciplinary licensed staff, technicians, clerical staff, interns, and volunteers. Oversees patient care assignment, scheduling, and daily operations as it relates to clinical, team, market, service, and finance. Serves as a subject matter expert in quality and process improvement initiatives as well as general center operations. Sets direction for the team and encourages the use of innovative approaches to ensure an excellent consumer experience is provided in an efficient manner while maximizing resources. Responsible for building trusting relationships and partnering with physicians and other stakeholders to encourage referral growth. Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with associates, providers, and leaders. Ensures that the staff adhere to policies and procedures and to the rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Assists with patient care within the scope of practice when available and required. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and standards of accrediting bodies and payers.
Qualifications

Basic competence in computer skills to include EMR experience, Outlook and Microsoft Office [Required]
Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
2 years healthcare experience [Required]
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Occupational Therapist (OT) [Required] OR
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) [Required] OR
