About The Role
As a Tax Associate, you will be an integral part of our Tax department, providing essential support in preparing and filing income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities. This full-time, salaried role requires a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about helping clients effectively manage their tax obligations. You will work closely with senior tax professionals, contributing to tax planning strategies, projections, and financial reporting to deliver optimal results for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
- Assist in the preparation of tax projections and planning strategies for clients.
- Support senior tax professionals in managing end-to-end client engagements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provision workpapers and financial statement disclosures.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
- Collaborate with team members to research and resolve tax-related questions or issues.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification or candidacy is a plus.Proven understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes and regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.A collaborative mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.Why You'll Love Working Here
