7OH2 Hospitality is seeking professional & skilled, Host & Hostess's to join our dynamic hospitality group. As a dedicated team, we are eager to find an individual who is enthusiastic about being part of the initial stages of an exciting group that is truly passionate about creating something special.

Qualifications and Responsibilities :

Minimum of 2 years as a Host / Hostess in a high-volume, full-service environment. High-volume corporate operation preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

ServSafe Certified.

Greets guests promptly as they enter the venue, while smiling and making eye contact.

Complete knowledge of all floor plans and key locations of venue.

Have working knowledge of how to run a floor plan on a seating platform such as Opentable, Resy, or 7 Rooms.

Collects all and maintains nothing less than perfection and cleanliness of menus.

STRONG knowledge of all things Detroit. MUST be well versed in the city and its happenings.

Complete knowledge of our food and beverage menu.

Is aware of all VIP guests.

Previous experience in a fast-paced, professional, team-centric setting is a must.

Competent in the State of Michigan & Detroit City Health Department Standards. Must be able to always maintain a compliant score, No Exceptions.

Ability to remain professional and composed during peak hours and high-pressure situations.

Must possess EXTREMELY high standards.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance & grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform.

Attend all team meetings & trainings.

Observes and adheres to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.

Able to work a flexible schedule, especially during pre-opening and opening stages of the establishment.

ACCOUNTABILITY :

Takes ownership of all work performed and communicated.

Completes tasks on time or notifies the appropriate person with an alternate plan.

ORAL / WRITTEN COMMUNICATION :

Practices attentive and active listening with staff.

Listens without interruption and gets clarification.

Actively participates in meetings, contributing ideas to improve the company.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

While performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.

Position is expected to :

Stand more 80% of the time

Walk more than 50% of the time

Lift up to 50 pounds

Push / pull up to 30 pounds.
