Mental Health Therapist - Correctional Facility

Position Overview : As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for planning and delivering clinical mental health services within a correctional facility. Your work will include providing assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering counseling to inmates.

• Conduct thorough mental health screenings and assessments, integrating available records and clinical interviews.
• Implement, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment activities in health care records for all clients.
• Uphold the strict confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to privacy regulations.
• Exhibit proficiency in psychological counseling techniques, applying evidence-based practices in your treatment interventions.
• Conduct mental health assessments, crisis interventions, and ongoing support to meet the needs of the inmate population.
