Aurora, Ohio
$90-110,000
Lab + Pilot Plant | Collaboration with Chemists & Engineers | Hands-on R&D
The Role
You’ll work on developing new impregnation technologies and polymer-based sealant materials , moving ideas from lab concept to production process.
Main responsibilities
- Run lab-scale trials on organic / polymer materials and translate results into pilot and production processes .
- Collaborate with chemists, equipment engineers, and process technicians to improve impregnation systems.
- Analyze process–material relationships : how chemical structure affects equipment performance and material behavior under vacuum and pressure.
- Support production teams on the floor and customer service in the field when issues require chemical insight.
- Perform instrumental analysis (composition, material properties) and document findings in clear reports and process specifications.
