Location : Piscataway, New Jersey

Compensation : $35 hourly

Contractor Work Model : Onsite

Hours : 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm

SUMMARY : Material Planner I is responsible for the production planning of finished goods as well as for the procurement of raw materials needed to support the business. Key objectives will be achieving / improving / exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Utilize MRP to create and maintain workorders for both liquids and flavor compounds.
• Utilize fulfillment workbench to create and maintain dispensing jobs.
• Determine optimal min / max levels and restocking points to maintain appropriate inventory.
• Review inventory levels for excess / write offs / blend backs.
• Work with rabbinical services and I-Kosher as required.
• Review and maintain master data for all relevant planning aspects.
• Support all sample lab projects / library requirements.
• Provide support / communication for all internal teams.
• Run and utilize Pegging Report to communicate planning issues to internal teams.
• Cross-functional departmental meetings, as assigned.
• Participate in process improvement projects for all aspects of the planning.

Work Environment :

Office work environment with occasional trips to and from the warehouse and production areas. The individual may be exposed to elevated room temperatures and above average noise levels in the manufacturing environments.
