Provider Engagement Account Executive
Location : Queens, NY / The Bronx, NY | Hybrid
Salary : $115,000 – $120,000 / yr + potential 8% annual bonus

About the Role :
Join a leading national healthcare organization dedicated to improving the health of communities. We are seeking a Provider Engagement Account Executive to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with contracted provider networks. This hybrid role provides equipment for remote work while requiring 30–50% travel into the field to meet providers face-to-face, supporting improved patient outcomes and provider performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct regular in-person visits with physicians to provide real-time support, review performance metrics, and identify opportunities for clinical and operational improvement.
- Focus on value-based care initiatives, aligning providers to performance-based agreements that incentivize better outcomes, cost efficiency, and quality care.
- Use data analytics to monitor provider performance and provide actionable feedback.
- Build strong relationships with providers and internal teams, including executive leadership, to drive performance improvements.
- Resolve provider issues and streamline processes to prevent ongoing concerns.
- Educate providers on policies, referrals, claims submission, web portal usage, and other operational procedures.
- Evaluate provider performance and develop strategic plans for improvement.
- Present detailed performance reports and analyses at committee meetings.
- Serve as a coach and lead for external representatives, providing guidance and training.
- Travel locally as required (approximately 4 days per week).
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred (Public Health, Health Administration, or Business Administration).3–5+ years of healthcare experience in managed care, provider relations, quality improvement, utilization management, or clinical operations.Valid driver’s license.Experience with face-to-face provider engagement and performance-metric-based discussions.Proficiency in HEDIS / quality measures, cost / utilization metrics, and value-based performance programs.Strong project management and executive-level communication skills.Ability to synthesize complex issues and influence outcomes across multiple organizational levels.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in medical groups, IPAs, or health plan settings.Executive exposure with the ability to drive innovation, growth, provider retention, and member outcomes.What We Offer :
