Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a purchasing admin to support core purchasing functions within our manufacturing environment. This role focuses on creating and managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory, and conducting purchasing research. The position offers growth potential in areas such as HR, inventory management, or project management.

Responsibilities :

• Create and update purchase orders in QuickBooks.
• Track delivery dates and report any delays.
• Monitor inventory using shortage reports and maintain accuracy.
• Conduct purchasing research to identify cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure timely procurement of materials.

Work Environment :

The work environment consists of an office setting with a machine shop in the back. The team is small and collaborative, reporting to a Project Manager. The dress code is business casual, and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
