Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, escalate complaints, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with accounting to ensure accuracy of material purchases and sales reporting
- Support sales members by lending support to customers' communications and orders
- Ensures full customer satisfaction and maintain professional communication
- Processes purchase orders, adjustments, changes, invoices and other related paperwork
- Work closely with freight forwarders and custom brokers
- Work cross functionally with accounting, management, sales, HQs and external customers
- Seeking out opportunities or process and procedure improvements
- Direct inbound or outbound logistic operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED
- Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred
- Comfortable using computers and customer management software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking
- Active listening
