Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available in Cary, NC, beginning July 22. This role offers the chance to provide vital support to students in grades 6 through 12 across resource and self-contained classrooms. Teachers are expected to work Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, with two days per week extending to 4 : 30 PM.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of 35-40 students in resource settings and up to 8 students in self-contained classrooms. The position requires a strong mitment to delivering individualized instruction tailored to students' unique needs, collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining detailed records to monitor progress.

Qualifications and experience desired :

• Valid EC (Exceptional Children) license
• For self-contained roles, an Adapted Curriculum license is mandatory
• Willingness to work full-time hours with some extended days
• Open to new graduates eager to make an impact in special education
• Ability to handle a diverse caseload of middle and high school students
