Job Description

The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered tools and vehicles.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to transport raw materials, full goods and / or finished goods to designated area
• Load and unload trailers and / or route trucks
• Move product and / or materials manually as required
• Assist with shipping and receiving functions as directed
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 6 months of general work experience required
• Forklift certification required
• 1+ years of prior warehouse, stocking and / or forklift experience preferred
• Must have the ability to lift, carry and position product weighing up to 50 pounds above shoulder height without assistance
• Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.
