Opportunity :

We are seeking a motivated and curious individual to join our Cyber & Technology Errors & Omissions (E&O) team in Chicago. This 12-week paid summer internship offers a deep dive into the world of commercial underwriting.

You will :

• Learn how to evaluate and underwrite Cyber insurance, Errors & Omissions insurance, Miscellaneous Professional liability and Media Liability.
• Analyze an insureds or potential insureds cyber hygiene through the analysis of submission materials (full form applications, 10k findings, news articles, claim trends and customer meetings)
• Collaborate with experienced underwriters and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in real-world projects that impact our customers and business.
• Collaborate with BHSI Interns across North America.

You will be part of a dynamic and supportive underwriting team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Your work will directly contribute to protecting our clients’ assets and ensuring the profitability of our portfolio.

The base salary range for this position is from $22 / hour - $26 / hour; a candidate’s salary is determined by their relevant skills and experience. We value our teammates – both their capabilities and character – as demonstrated by our amazing culture.
