We're hiring a full-time Principal to join our team. As Principal, you'll be at the forefront of sourcing, evaluating, and executing deals for our Harvard, Dartmouth, Women's Fund and US Strategic Tech Fund, while collaborating across the broader AV platform. The role is fundamentally T-shaped. It is a generalist investing role spanning sectors and stages, but with the encouragement to develop thesis areas. Our focus is on Pre-Seed and Seed, as well as follow-on investing in Early and Growth-stage opportunities. You'll help shape a portfolio of 50-75 investments annually, deliver top-tier fund performance, and strengthen our position in the venture ecosystem. You'll work closely with the Managing Partner, Senior Associates, and broader team to identify high-potential companies, lead diligence and negotiation, and nurture relationships with founders, co-investors, and industry partners. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of at least four days in the office each week. Alumni Ventures is a fast-paced, professional, entrepreneurial environment.

Who You Are

Compensation includes a starting base salary of $175,000 plus equity, carry potential, and corporate bonus.
