Job Title : Application & Training Specialist
Department : Customer Service

I. Job Summary
The Applications & Training Specialist is responsible for performing installations, trainings, and certifications of all COSMED’s products.
Additional responsibilities include fielding and addressing Customer Service inquiries and performing service visits as necessary.
All associated records shall be maintained per FDA and internal quality system standards.
II. Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites for installations, trainings, and certifications (>
75% travel is required)
- Perform service as needed
- Maintain documentation per Quality System and internal CRM standards
- Train personnel on proper use and care of equipment
- Provide telephone and email customer service support when required
- Manage expenses within defined budget
III. Requirements
Education
BS in Exercise Physiology or equivalent
Knowledge and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in exercise physiology and / or PFT
- Experience servicing electronic equipment strongly preferred
- Experience operating metabolic and PFT equipment strongly preferred
- Technical aptitude required
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Self-starter, ability to work with a minimum amount of daily supervision
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Self-starter, ability to work with a minimum amount of daily supervision
- Strong interpersonal and group communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work within a cross-functional team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Prolonged sitting or standing required, up to 8+ hrs / day
