Position Summary

Assistant Professor, Non‑Tenure Track, General Anesthesiologist (Full‑time)

The Department of Anesthesiology at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School seeks a qualified General Anesthesiologist to join the faculty. The appointment will begin on July 1 2025.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include :

• On‑site anesthesia services to adult patients at University Hospital.
• Intraoperative and didactic teaching of residents.
• Participation in Faculty Development programs.
• Collaboration with surgical services both clinically and administratively.
• Contribution to research that forwards the discipline academically and clinically.
