Responsibilities

• Provide on-site anesthesia services to adult patients at University Hospital in the Main Operating Rooms, the Same-Day-Surgery ORs in the Doctor’s Office Center, The Stone Center and various off-the-floor locations.
• Provide intraoperative and didactic teaching of residents / educational activities that forward division / department / institutional goals.
• Participate in various divisional / departmental / institutional initiatives and activities.
• Participate in Faculty Development and skill / knowledge acquisition activities.
• Participate and promote research that forwards the discipline both academically and clinically.
• All medical records must be completed in accordance with NJMS and hospital policies, including completion of all medical records within 7 days of the date of service.
• Complete all charge submissions within 14 days of the date of service.
• Complete Medicare time studies or other documents required for documenting services as outlined in program guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chair.
