The Opportunity

We're seeking a Production Electrical Engineer to join our aerospace and defense team. In this role, you'll bridge design and manufacturing-ensuring that complex electrical systems are produced efficiently, meet rigorous compliance standards, and perform flawlessly in the field. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, solve technical challenges, and contribute to projects with global impact.

What You'll Do

• Lead the production, assembly, and testing of electrical components for aerospace and defense systems.
• Ensure compliance with key standards : AS9100, IPC-610 / 620, MIL-STD-461 / 704, and FAA regulations.
• Partner with design engineers to transition products from prototype to full-scale production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with electrical systems, circuit boards, and wiring harnesses.
• Develop and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and uphold quality.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and corrective actions for defects or failures.
• Interface with suppliers to secure high-quality materials and components.
• Apply CAD tools (Altium, AutoCAD Electrical, OrCAD) for schematic validation and design optimization.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing practices and design for manufacturability / testability (DFM / DFT).
• Prepare technical documentation, test procedures, and production reports.

This position is at our Montville and Parsippany , NJ office location.
