About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Experience : Minimum of 3 years required

License : Must have licensure in hand at submission

Certifications : ARDMS and CCI preferred

Must-Have :

Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, and ICU

Skills in 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Routine, and Treadmill Stress Echo

Description :

Position requires performing echocardiograms as per facility needs.

The shift is from 07 : 30 to 18 : 00.

There is a call requirement of 4-5 days per 6-week schedule, including one weekend day.

The facility tries to accommodate block scheduling but cannot guarantee it.

Local candidates are accepted with no radius restrictions.

The client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the canceled hours.

If more hours are canceled than permitted, the client will be billed for those shifts.

Candidates will be required to float within the hospital.

Professional knowledge of isolation precautions is required.

Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.

Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Candidates must float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

Background checks will be conducted prior to employment.

Allied clinicians who do not require a state license in hand must arrive 3 business days prior to start for compliance.

Certifications required depend on the unit specifications.

Candidates should have experience performing inpatient bedside echoes, outpatient echoes, and other specified echocardiogram procedures.

Preferred experience includes Philips equipment.

The daily census can range from 30-50 patients per day.

Successful candidates will demonstrate reliability and compliance throughout their assignment duration.
