Job DescriptionJob Description

Doyon Government Group is hiring an experienced Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) to lead safety management on USACE and NAVFAC construction projects .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and manage Accident Prevention Plans (APP), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA), crane and rigging plans
• Conduct daily site inspections and safety reporting to maintain full compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards
• Lead safety meetings and provide on-site safety education for subcontractors and site personnel
• Maintain safety documentation, including OSHA 300 logs, SDS lists, and deficiency tracking systems
• Coordinate safety efforts with Quality Control Managers and Superintendents on new definable features of work
• Manage site-specific safety activities such as confined space, lockout / tagout, and abatement processes
• Investigate incidents, complete accident reports, and enforce all safety requirements on site
• Conduct 1st day site safety orientations and continuous safety training
