Allied Universal is currently hiring a full time Security Officer for a high school in Dorchester, MA Monday - Friday 1 PM - 9 PM. Starting pay is $22.15 per hour / paid orientation / paid training / daily pay available.

As a Security Officer in Dorchester, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions, and more. As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. By remaining visible and responsive, you will contribute to a welcoming environment that reflects Allied Universal's commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff, visitors, and / or students.

Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

Interact professionally with all individuals at the location, including staff, visitors, and / or students, while upholding Allied Universal's standards.

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
