Java Developer
Job Title : Java Developer
Location : Tampa, FL (Hybrid Model)
Duration : 12+ Months (Possible Extension)
Qualifications :
- Looking for a Mid-Level to Sr. Java Developer with overall 5-8 years of Information Technology Experience including Core Java, Collections, Multi-threading as core skillset with knowledge of databases and design patterns, and some hands-on experience on UNIX
- 3-5 years of Hands-on coding experience to support the development of enterprise applications and design and implement microservices architectures.
- Develop and maintain end-user-focused, object-oriented, data-driven analytic home-grown applications.
- Develop new code, modify existing application code, conduct unit, and system testing, and engage in rigorous documentation of developed and delivered application use cases, data flows, and functional operations.
- Expertise in Java and Object-Oriented Design and development principles is essential.
- Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills and relationship building skills
- Service oriented attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with various vendors.
- Experience working or leading requirement gathering efforts for multiple large development projects at one-time
- Proficient using basic technical tools and systems
- Experience with JIRA / SharePoint Usage / Confluence is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, driving projects / issues to closure.
Education :
- Bachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience
- Java related certification would be preferred.
- Experience with In-Memory Datastore / Cache libraries (Redis, Apache Ignite, Gemfire)
