IT Director
Role : IT Director
Location : On-Site at McAllen, TX Office
Role Summary : Responsible for leading and managing all technology systems and infrastructure for Tijerina Legal Group, P.C. The IT Director ensures operational reliability, data security, and performance optimization across the firm's technology stack. This includes overseeing Microsoft Azure, Salesforce case management, cybersecurity, and vendor relationships, while aligning IT strategy with firm-wide goals and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Infrastructure Management :
- Oversee daily operation and optimization of all systems, including Microsoft 365, Azure services, networking, data storage, and failover setups.
- Maintain full documentation of systems, configurations, and incident resolutions.
- Cybersecurity Oversight :
- Manage cybersecurity tools such as CrowdStrike and related monitoring systems.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, perform regular audits, and oversee vulnerability management.
- Systems and Application Management :
- Supervise Salesforce CRM and case management platform performance, ensuring data accuracy and integration reliability.
- Oversee upgrades, patches, and new technology implementations.
- Vendor and MSP Coordination :
- Lead collaboration with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), ensuring SLAs, incident response times, and proactive maintenance standards are met.
- Review vendor performance and report outcomes to leadership.
- Team Leadership :
- Manage, train, and mentor the IT Supervisor and junior technical staff, providing performance feedback and development plans.
- Promote accountability and proactive issue resolution across the IT team.
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery :
- Maintain backup systems and failover readiness, including Starlink and backup internet operations.
- Conduct periodic recovery drills and ensure documentation of protocols.
- Project and Process Management :
- Lead IT project intake, planning, and implementation aligned with business priorities.
- Communicate timelines, budgets, and deliverables clearly to firm leadership.
- Reporting and Analytics :
- Produce IT performance reports including uptime, SLA compliance, and risk mitigation summaries.
- Provide executive updates with actionable insights for decision-making.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 1015 years of progressive IT experience, including leadership in multi-office or high-growth environments.Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and network management.Proven experience managing Salesforce or similar enterprise-level CRMs.Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and familiarity with CrowdStrike or equivalent tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and documentation skills.Strong ability to translate technical language into business impact.On-site presence in McAllen, TX is required (no remote option).KPIs :
