Wastewater Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager - Sioux Falls, SD

Responsibilities
Provide professional services for wastewater engineering projects to include design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of sub-consultants and contractorsProvide professional services for the design and construction of wastewater collection systems, and wastewater treatment facilitiesWork within multi-discipline projects that include civil, electrical, and architectural aspectsIdentify, evaluate, pursue, and manage project opportunitiesProvide quality control and quality assurance on all project workMaintain budgets and schedules of project assignments and maintain quality client relationships and communicationCoordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetingsProvide guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and other project team membersGather critical data to assist clients with project financing and funding developmentQualifications
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related fieldRegistration as a Professional Engineer ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months6+ years of experience in municipal civil engineering with a strong interest in the wastewater market sectorAbility to travel as required for business development and project / client responsibilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and OutlookAbility to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyMaintain stellar reputation for integrity, fairness, reliability, good judgment and aptitude among peers, management, and staffAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any / all of the following : criminal / civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulationsPreferred Qualifications
Master's degree in civil or environmental engineeringDesign work and knowledge with wastewater treatment and collection systems, utility planning, and other municipal vertical and horizontal infrastructureExperience leading both internal initiatives and external projectsAbility to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyPhysical Qualifications
