Support Staff : Youth Engagement Specialist

Are you passionate about working with youth who have been through traumatic experiences? Do you possess the skills to mentor teen girls? Eagle Quest is looking for qualified individuals to work with Las Vegas' youth in order to best support them. Eagle Quest, an organization serving at-risk and / or disadvantaged youth and their families, is searching for a Youth Engagement Specialist with social work experience, the ability to work with a variety of people with diverse socio-economic background and temperaments, for a Full-Time hourly position. This is a support staff role for a treatment program in a group home setting. DUTIES :

• Mentoring the youth clients
• Facilitating Crisis Stabilization, as well as self-care, social, and communication skills training and mentoring with clientele
• Providing a safe and secure environment
• Coordinating therapeutic activities with adolescents in a treatment level program (group home)
• Scheduling for providers within the home
• Documenting services provided for Medicaid reporting
• Distributing medication to the youth clients
• Assisting with client and appointment transportation
• Other
