Business System Analyst

Description

The colleague will be the primary liaison between the Line of Business and the Development / Implementation Teams. Primary responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their business and technical requirements, building and managing the product backlog (projects & enhancements), and successfully leading projects through their respective life-cycles.

Job Summary :

• Deep BSA skills with ability to work on project requiring work from multiple IT / Business Teams
• Skilled at defining and documenting business and functional requirements for projects
• Project coordination experience (project management experience is a plus)
• Strong Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Technical background with knowledge of how systems are integrated (APIs, Schedulers, etc)
• Experience in all phases of product, software, and testing lifecycles
• Able to serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs
• Skilled at defining and documenting business and functional requirements for projects
• Strong investigative, analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong knowledge in software delivery : Waterfall, Agile / Iterative, and / or Scrum
• Able to proactively identify risks, and drive action to prioritize, mitigate, and resolve issues
• Familiarity with all types of technical documentation (process maps, BRDs, system diagrams, user experience, application maps, test plans, use cases, test cases, etc.)

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology Field
• 3+ years experience as BSA

Preferred Qualifications :

• Knowledge in Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies
• Project Management training / experience

• IBM BlueworksLive (Process Modeling Tool)
• MicroSoft Office Products
• ServiceNow PPM (Project Management)
• MicroSoft Azure (Test and Defect Tracking)

Exempt Status : (Yes not eligible for overtime pay) ( No eligible for overtime pay)
