Maintenance Technician

South Bend, IN | $27-30 / hr. | 1st shift or 3rd shift

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in South Bend, IN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance and repairs. If you have a knack for troubleshooting and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes.
Keep work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.

Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
