Salary : $60,000-$165,000

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Regional Sales Consultant to develop and grow residential builder partnerships across the Houston market. This hybrid role focuses on generating new business with residential builders while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing partners.

This position requires a consultative seller with deep experience in home automation, Lutron shading systems, audio / video integration, security solutions, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate is driven, relationship-focused, and confident navigating the residential construction industry.

Key Responsibilities :

Identify and engage new residential builders and developers to drive new business opportunities

Serve as a trusted advisor to builder partners, educating them on premium technology offerings and integration solutions

Maintain and grow assigned builder accounts through consistent follow-up, site visits, and solution-based selling

Present and recommend tailored solutions involving home automation, Lutron shades, AV systems, home security, and networking

Collaborate with internal design, project management, and installation teams to ensure accurate scoping and seamless project delivery

Maintain CRM activity and forecasting to track performance and pipeline health

Represent the company at builder events, local industry functions, and targeted networking opportunities

Qualifications :

35+ years of sales experience in home automation, AV integration, security, or related construction-based industries

Strong familiarity and hands-on experience selling home automation systems and Lutron shading solutions

Proven track record of generating new business and cultivating long-term client relationships

Knowledge of the homebuilding and residential construction process

Self-starter with excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills

Ability to manage accounts across both Austin and Houston (if applicable), with occasional travel between markets

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
