Full Time- Night Shift

3 / 12 hour shifts from 7pm-7am with rotating weekends

Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of those who have experienced serious injury, trauma or illness. Your specially trained care team includes a medical director, rehabilitation-certified nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dieticians, respiratory therapists and more. We start by listening to better understand you and your health. Then, we create a personalized care plan that helps you regain your strength.

JOB SUMMARY :

Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develop nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicates changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor / Manager, and co-workers as appropriate. Participates in discharges planning process.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• CPR / BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
• CRRN Preferred
• Minimum six months of Medical / Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
